The 2008 HCSNet Summer School will be held on Monday 1st December and Tuesday 2nd December, 2008. Participation in the Summer School is open to anyone with an interest in Human Communication Science.
The aim of the Summer School is to provide an opportunity for students and staff to hear about hot topics and the latest research in Human Communication Science. Summer School courses are led by leading researchers from psychology, linguistics, computer science, language technology, speech science, music, and engineering. This year's Summer School will consist of eight day-long courses, each consisting of an introductory session and an advanced session. The Summer School is followed on the Tuesday evening by a 'Meet the Presenter' session designed to give course attendeees an opportunity to ask questions and talk informally with the course presenters.
