The aim of this study is to understand how auditory and visual ERPs develop through adolescence. To detect auditory and visual processing impairment at different ages or to detect when an auditory or visual processing impaired has been successfully treated using ERPs, we need to know what normal auditory ERPs or visual ERPs look like at different ages. We will measure auditory and visual ERPs in 80 children and young adults aged 10-18 years. The participants will be grouped into 1 year age band for e.g. 10-11, 11-12, 12-13 etc. Preliminary findings of auditory and visual ERPs will be presented.
